Travel light to the Riviera Nayarit with Volaris

Mexico’s Pacific Treasure is joining the 2020 Volaris + Riviera Nayarit Challenge to continue to reinforce the destination’s presence in Mexico and incentivize short stays.
The challenge consists in a taking a weekend trip and traveling light with just a backpack to escape the daily stress and the restrictions in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
To meet this challenge, the Riviera Nayarit invited Óscar Martén, better known as Watt Sopa @wattsopa, a comedian and influencer with more than two million followers on his social media (355K on Instagram alone), who will visit the destination from November 24-26.
The 2020 Volaris + Riviera Nayarit Challenge consists of three stages, during which Watt Sopa will attract his audience, demonstrate how to travel light, and encourage followers to fly to the Riviera Nayarit.
Phase 1 /Unboxing & Challenge
Watt Sopa receives his backpack and shows his followers how he’ll pack it.
Phase 2 / Airport + Destination
Upload stories that show the airport, the health protocols, and, afterwards, share his activities in the destination.
Phase 3 / Recap and Contest
Sopa will record a video testimonial and invite his followers to participate in the contest for a trip to the Riviera Nayarit.

+ Volaris has instituted a Biosecurity Protocol that ensures the wellness of its passengers every step of the way. The company has followed sanitization and prevention measures that have been applied since April, which is why there are currently no cases of contagion reported from passengers or airline personnel.

The Riviera Nayarit is a safe destination, and all hotels, restaurants, and tourist establishments are following all the health protocols established by the Federal Government’s Ministry of Health.
