In 2016 the Riviera Nayarit was showcased in different national and international media considered to be among the best in the world. Some of the articles could be tied back directly the efforts of the Public Relations office of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau and others came about organically via the editors themselves.

USA Today writer Mark Rogers visited the Destination a few years ago and ever since he’s been publishing articles, one of them titled “Affordable Riviera Nayarit: Bargains Beyond the Big Hotels.” That particular article was also published in Caribbean News Digital.

Mark also published another article in this top US media outlet with over 23 million readers where he noted it’s possible to splurge on luxurious experiences here for much less. In addition, his latest piece highlighted beach towns that may be small but offer lots to do.

Australia’s edition of Travel Weekly named Sayulita as one of its “Top 7 Foodie Destinations;” it was the only Mexican destination on the list. BBC World named Playa del Amor in Islas Marietas as one of the seven weirdest natural phenomena you can visit on this planet.

Also in Mexico, the local edition of Forbes included the Riviera Nayarit as one of the 10 ten cities for conducting business. Meanwhile, Fodor’s recommended a series of activities to best enjoy a weekend in the Riviera Nayarit.
