Riviera Nayarit Announces July 2017 Events
- They include the 11thBahía de Banderas International Fishing Tournament, the San Blas Pee Wee Surfing League, the La Patrona Atlética Madrid Summer Camp, the Abierto Mexicano de Surf (Mexican Surf Open), the Corona Sunsets San Pancho-Riviera Nayarit, the V Sea Turtle Festival and Nuestra Belleza Nayarit.
Summer is heating up in the Riviera Nayarit with a variety of events: sports dominate the calendar, but there is plenty going on in the music, nature and beauty pageant arenas.
San Blas Pee Wee Surfing League (July 15)
It’s San Blas’ turn to host this itinerant tournament, which visits different coastal villages of Nayarit in search of new talent in this extreme sport.
La Patrona Atlético de Madrid Summer Camp (July 17 – August 11)

Spain’s Club Atlético de Madrid will be holding a Summer Camp – San Pancho Campus in the Riviera Nayarit at the La Patrona Polo Club. This will include four weeks of training for kids and teens. For more information call 044 (322) 146 7714 or 01 (322) 297 2334 ext. 106.
11th Bahía de Banderas International Fishing Tournament (July 20-22)
Organized by the Bahía de Banderas Fishing Club, this traditional event that focuses on catching marlin and tuna returns to the waters off of the Riviera Nayarit with a slew of national and international participants.

Mexicans and foreigners, professionals and amateurs: all surfers are invited to participate in this competition, which offers 100 thousand pesos in prizes and will take place in San Pancho.
Corona Sunsets San Pancho – Riviera Nayarit (July 22)
This spectacular sunset Corona concert returns to the Riviera Nayarit, this time to San Pancho, which will host nine national and international DJs led by Duke Dumont, Bakermat and Goldroom. Thousands of attendees will be on hand to enjoy this magical spectacle held at the Hacienda San Pancho.
V Sea Turtle Festival (July 22-23)
This festival, held in the community of Platanitos, serves up activities aimed at protecting the environment and the conservation of the sea turtles.
Nuestra Belleza Nayarit (TBD)
This is the State of Nayarit’s most important beauty pageant, where the loveliest young ladies vie to be the one to represent the state. Location and date to be determined.
