Luxury Press Will Showcase The Best Of The Riviera Nayarit In The United States
- The most recent visit by four freelance journalists will generate 15 million media impressions via nine specialized travel and luxury media in the US.
The Public Relations department of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) hosted a press trip during which they maximized their resources and increased the destination’s reach in order to promote the most relevant aspects that will position the Riviera Nayarit as a luxury destination.
The Destination welcomed four US freelance journalists—Lanee Neil, Shea Peters, Daniel Scheffler and Lindsay Taub—who stayed from May 14-18. The all specialize in travel, luxury and tourism trends, and write for different media with extensive circulation and unique monthly visits (UMV). Together they provide over 15 million impressions.
These independent writers publish stories in the following media: Examiner.com (12,551,215 UMV), Travel + Leisure (Circulation: 973,834), GQ (Circulation: 943,676), Sawubona (Circulation: 720,000), American Way (Circulation: 341,658), Robb Report, (Circulation: 101,465), The Tennessean (Circulation: 95,771), Cigar & Spirits (Circulation: 60,000) and VoyageVixens.com (5,334 VUM).
Their trip included a site inspection of the luxury villas in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and AAA 4- and 5-Diamond hotels in Punta Mita and Nuevo Vallarta; tastings of the best in local cuisine at area restaurants; and a tour of the most exclusive golf courses, plus ecotourism and adventure activities.
They also toured Sayulita and San Pancho, where they enjoyed the cultural attractions that make these villages so unique. All in all, they were able to gather all the information they needed to publish their upcoming pieces for their North American audience.
