CosmopolitanTV Produces Reality Show In The Riviera Nayarit
- The Series Hombre Cosmo 2014 (Cosmo Man 2014) was filmed and produced on-site at La Tranquila Breathtaking Resort & Spa Punta de Mita; it is airing in July for 12 million viewers all over Latin America.
The popular reality show, Hombre Cosmo 2014 (Cosmo Man 2014), produced by CosmopolitanTV, was filmed on-site at La Tranquila Breathtaking Resort & Spa Punta de Mita, located in Libitú on the Riviera Nayarit’s Glamour Peninsula.
The production took place during the month of May but didn’t air until July, much to the delight of its 12 million viewers in Latin America, namely Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.
According to Abel Santos, General Manager of La Tranquila, “This is part of the public relations and support plan La Tranquila is implementing in support of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau to help publicize the best the destination has to offer.”
The show, which began July 16th, is hosted by Pamela Trueba and consists of six weekly chapters airing on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. La Tranquila was the ideal host and official sponsor, since, according to Abel, “television projects us right into the luxury market.”
“Obviously once we knew the show was to be aired in Latin America—a market we’re very interested in—we realized we needed to endorse it,” added Santos.
The target market of this multimedia station includes dynamic, intelligent, fun, modern and up-to-date females between the ages of 18 and 35 and within the ABC+ socioeconomic segment, just the profile for potential tourists to the Riviera Nayarit.
And as if TV viewers weren’t enough, news of this new edition of the reality show is also circulating within traditional and social media throughout the Southern Cone of the continent.
There are nine participants in this newest adventure filmed on the beaches of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure, each vying to see who is the sexiest in Latin America.
Among their other promotional efforts, La Tranquila just filmed a Pepsi Mexico commercial on-site, which will also serve to position the resort and the destination, as well.
