The magic of Riviera Nayarit has started to become evident in an international scale after the Tianguis Turístico México 2012, which or destination co-hosted with Puerto Vallarta. Several articles promoting the advantages of the destination known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure have started to appear in publications like Tours.com and Wheredaily.
“Riviera Nayarit was barely a blip on the map a decade ago, but since that time, the 200 mile stretch of pristine Pacific coastline has sprung into a corridor of all-inclusives, a pocket of mucho-exclusives and a sprinkling of precious backwater villages.” wrote Lark Ellen Gould in her article entitled “Nayarit Celebrates the Slow Side to Mexico”.
Gould, a writer for Tours.com, describes her unforgettable trip through Bucerías, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Punta Mita, Sayulita, San Pancho, Rincón de Guayabitos, and even San Blas, after she attended the Tianguis Turístico, and shared it with over 125,000 travel agents in the USA and Canada through one of her electronic newsletters, which are some of the most widely read in the industry.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit is continuing the intense work to promote our destination in order to attract tourism to the region and to promote the economic development of the People, in a total commitment with the objectives defined by the Government of Roberto Sandoval.
