Brides magazine is considered one of the top magazines in North America for women planning their special day. They recently published a list recommending the top 18 honeymoon destinations in Mexico, which included the Riviera Nayarit.
There are three hotels from the destination showcased in their pages: the Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort is in 6th place, followed by The St. Regis Resort Punta Mita in 11th and the Grand Velas Nuevo Vallarta in 13thplace.
From the text: “That sun. Those insanely good margaritas. Days tend to be very, very leisurely when vacationing south of the border; your most important decision of the day might be salt or no salt. Which is why a Mexican honeymoon is the perfect post-wedding stress buster. We ranked the most romantic escapes, crisscrossing the country from Los Cabos to Punta Mita to the Mayan Riviera.”

Regarding the Four Seasons they highlighted whale watching on the resort’s private yacht and the Nuna pool, which appears to blend seamlessly with the bay. Also in Punta Mita, the St. Regis was mentioned for its three ocean front pools, its 10,000-square-foot spa, and round-the-clock butler service.
The Grand Velas in Nuevo Vallarta was lauded for its posh, all-inclusive entry-level rooms that begin at a whopping 1,000 square feet and its couples’ kayak tours and Scuba clinics, which are included in the price tag.
Brides has a circulation of 317,687 issues and was designed as a guide for brides, giving them all the details they need for planning the wedding, the honeymoon and their new home, as well as other details such as the wedding ring and the dress.
The publication showcases the latest in bridal fashions, beauty tips and articles on homecare, home electronics, trips, entertainment and ideas for the reception.
The magazine was started in 1934 and it has thousands of followers who are looking to make their dream day come true. This is a fantastic opportunity for promotion and exposure for the destination within the captive market in North America.
