Grand Palladium Joins The BCN

  • The Instituto Mexicano de Normalización y Certificación A.C. (IMNC) recently ratified the Clean Beaches Surveillance Recertifications that were pending revision in the Riviera Nayarit, meaning the Destination now has 10 beaches with current certifications.

The 17th edition of the Beach Cleanup Network (BCN) organized by the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau will now include the presence of Punta de Mita’s Hotel Grand Palladium, whose personnel will be operating on La Manzanilla beach in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

“The BCN performs its labor of love without much fanfare and truly helps the microdestinations on many levels, so we really need to point out how valuable its work is,” said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit CVB. “Sayulita being named a Pueblo Mágico (Magic Town), Nuevo Vallarta coming through as a Destino Limpio México (Mexico Clean Destination) and our Certified Clean Beaches are all examples that have directly or indirectly benefited from this activity.”

Civil associations, hotels, businesses and schools will be out in force this Saturday, October 10, 2015, to collaborate with these cleanups that help the environment, improve our image to tourists and is generating a gradual social change amongst the inhabitants and the visitors to the Destination.

Whether in the morning or in the afternoon, there will be dozens of people heading out to work towards the common good from Nuevo Vallarta all the way to the Isla De Mexcaltitán.
