Guayafest 2013: The Volks are Coming (NEW Dates)
Each year, enthusiastic Volkswagen owners reunite in Rincón de Guayabitos to show off their beloved VW Beetles, Things, buses, pickups, sedans, fastbacks and other models, many of which are suped up, painted up, modified or restored. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Some are in pristine condition, while others are well-traveled oldies but goodies.
Mark your calendars for May 4-5 when Guayafest 2013, the 14th Annual Reunion de Amigos del Volkswagen, will roll into town. This 2-day event is free and open to the public.
Dates: Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 (see update below)
Place: Plaza in Rincón de Guayabitos
Cost: Free
March 12, 2013 Update: Event organizers just notified us that they have changed the dates to May 4-5. They hope to see you all there. Be sure to change your calendars from the original dates (April 13-14).
