The Best Events In March Are In The Riviera Nayarit
- There are plenty of reasons to visit this tourism destination during the third month of the year; with 11 activities there are plenty of options for you to relax, have fun, or practice your favorite sport.
The Riviera Nayarit will host several top-notch national and international events in March for the enjoyment of locals as well as tourists and temporary residents.
In order to hold these events, a synergy was established between the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB), and the different tourism industry sectors in the destination in order to generate hotel nights and revenue, while also promoting sports and culture with the younger set and encouraging local talent.
“We want to have an inclusive destination because we not only want to bring in events, but we also want the local community to have a direct participation,” reiterated Marc Murphy, director of the CVB and the AHMBB.
The characteristics of the Riviera Nayarit make it different from every other destination—it’s modern and exclusive, but it also has deep traditional Mexican roots in its 23 coastal villages, making it ideal for hosting events like the ones below.

The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB) lend their support to events because they generate visitors and exposure thanks to the media coverage they receive; these entities have the backing of the Government of the State of Nayarit via its Tourism Promotion Trust (Fiprotur).
