The Riviera Nayarit Popular on “Best Of” Lists Around The World
- The Guardian, Forbes Travel Guide and Vogue Magazine are showcasing the Destination’s attractions; vote for Islas Marietas and Sayulita on USA Today’s 10Best.com’s “Top Ten Beaches in Mexico!”
Some of the top international press online portals have put together their lists of most popular world tourism destinations and the Riviera Nayarit’s beaches, hotels and attractions are making the grade.
The Guardian published their list of Top 50 Beaches in the World, where the Islas Marietas’ Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach) was in 10thplace. This list is divided into sections and the Riviera Nayarit’s iconic beach was placed in the “Best For Wow Factor” segment.
It was the only beach in Mexico featured among the many on the list: http://www.theguardian.com/travel/2016/feb/16/50-best-beaches-in-the-world.
Forbes Travel Guide announced the 2016 Star Awards Winners and two hotels located in Punta Mita, the Riviera Nayarit’s Glamour Peninsula, stood out on this list that included only 19 hotels in Mexico.
The St Regis Punta Mita Resort won the 4 Star Rating Award and the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita won the 5 Star Rating Award: http://www.forbestravelguide.com/about/awardwinners#cmpid=forbes_HN.
The Taiwan edition of Vogue Magazine picked the top 7 Places to Visit in 2016 and the Riviera Nayarit was not only in 3rd place on the list, but it was also the only Mexican destination to make it: http://www.vogue.com.tw/feature/travel/content-24992.html

USA Today Travel Media Group’s 10Best.com website opened the polls to pick the Top Ten Best Beaches in Mexico and the Riviera Nayarit is in the running with two: Playa Escondida or Playa del Amor (Hidden Beach, also known as Love Beach) in the Islas Marietas, and Sayulita’s Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach).
