Peruvian Press Focuses On The Riviera Nayarit’s Charms
- The MTB hosted a group of travel and tourism media from Peru for a visit to several destinations in Mexico, among them, the Riviera Nayarit.
A group of Peruvian journalists visited the Riviera Nayarit the last week in July on a press trip organized by the Mexico Tourism Board (MTB) with the assistance of the Public Relations desk of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), so the writers could sample the many attractions of the Destination.
The press trip originated in the MTB’s branch office in Colombia, which thanks to the agreements forged via the Pacific Alliance, also manages Chile and Peru. The group of journalists specializing in tourism visited several destinations in Mexico during their trip.
“We’re very pleased the federal government via the MTB has chosen us as one of Mexico’s leading destinations to introduce to the international press,” said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit CVB. “In response to this accolade we’re always happy to do our part in displaying the best of the Riviera Nayarit.”
The press pool consisted of the following media: magazines Revista EP, Revista Viajeros, Revista Enalta, Revista Rumbos (La República), the website Sólo Para Viajeros and the blog Trotamundos.
The group’s itinerary began in San Pancho, where they enjoyed an organic experience at Hotel Cielo Rojo and checked out the cultural vibe at Entre Amigos. They then stopped in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and savored an unforgettable meal at the Marina Riviera Nayarit.
Bucerías was next on the list for some shopping before the obligatory surfing adventure in Sayulita, where they topped off the day with a dinner at El Anclote in Punta de Mita. The last day was dedicated to experiencing the luxury offered by Nuevo Vallarta and Flamingos, where they ended their journey through the Riviera Nayarit.
