The filming in the Riviera Nayarit was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), which seeks to attract media attention and encourage coverage of the attractions of this Mexican Pacific treasure.

Jesús Carmona Jiménez, president of the Banderas Bay Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB) and director of operations for the Vallarta Gardens hotel, will be one of the personalities that will make an appearance on the show, talking about the more relevant aspects of the destination including the safety and quality of its hotels and tourist services.

“We’re very happy because for the first time the Riviera Nayarit will serve as the location for Destinos y Personalidades. Welcome! Nayarit is your home,” he said.

The president of the hoteliers said producing the program here was a great achievement, since it will boost the image of the destination on an international level.

“At the Hotel Association and the Riviera Nayarit CVB we consider this an incredible opportunity for journalists and TV presenters to get to know the region, view how we welcome tourism to our shores, our natural attractions, and the first-class infrastructure that we offer, and then transmit it to the various media; there’s no doubt it is a very important promotional asset,” he reiterated.

With respect to the production, Guillermo Andreu shared they air a different destination in Mexico every week, since the objective is precisely to showcase the best of our country.

“We choose the destinations for no particular reason; just because they’re part of Mexico and I like to show off this country (…) We like that we attract our countrymen and Hispanics in general to Mexico through the program, and that they don’t end up going to other destinations in the Caribbean, for example, when this country is so well connected,” he said.

The episode dedicated to Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta will showcase its hotels and traditions, with an emphasis on tourism sponsors. Likewise, it will emphasize the tranquility and security that prevails here as a way to counteract bad news and the bombardment of information about the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We want everyone who stayed home during the quarantine to return to Mexico on their next vacation. We’re doing our bit for the common good,” he reiterated.
