Condé Nast Traveler readers choose the best resorts in the Riviera Nayarit

• Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, and W Punta de Mita are among the top 20 hotels in the western part of Mexico in the 2019 “Readers’ Choice Awards.”

The Riviera Nayarit hotels continue garnering awards thanks to their quality service, infrastructure, and safety, all factors that Condé Nast Traveler readers took into consideration when choosing the winners of the 32^nd annual “Readers’ Choice Awards”

These awards are considered to be among the most important in the Travel Industry, highlighting the best places in the world: cities, islands, hotels and resorts, airlines, and much more.

Tree Riviera Nayarit Hotels were included among the “Top 20 Resorts in Western Mexico”: Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, and W Punta de Mita, chosen from among 10,000 hotels, resorts, and destination spas.

The results were obtained after a survey of 600,000 registered voters from around the world, who sent in comments, opinions, and reviews about their recent travel experiences.

In the Western Mexico regional section, the 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards placed the W Punta de Mita in 12^th place with a score of 96.5. “More stylish and party-oriented than most of its counterparts in Punta Mita, this hotel likes to play up its proximity to surf-chic Sayulita (20 minutes away). W brand loyalists will recognize some of the signature features, like the WET Deck (poolside bar and revelry scene) and AWAY Spa.”

 

Next up was The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort at number 18 with 95.84 points. “At this decade-old resort in a gated community along the Pacific, the tile-roofed casitas have Mediterranean-Mexican style with creamy whites accented by lime green and fuchsia tones and colorful handcrafted Mexican tiles.”

 

Finally, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita came in at number 20 with 95.24 points. “In this 1,500-acre ‘hidden oasis’ north of Puerto Vallarta, no request is too outlandish (…) The red-roof garden casitas are done in a sea-and-sand palette, with Mexican art and louvered doors.”
