The Riviera Nayarit markets the destination to more than 100 RCI travel agents

  • Representatives from the CVB and Fidetur trained a group of executives from the largest international vacation exchange company in Jacksonville and Indianapolis from July 16-18.

Over 100 travel agents at Resort Condominium International (RCI) received training from the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust (Fidetur) via presentations brimming with updated and relevant information about the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta.

RCI associates have an ample presence in this region with more than 20 hotels registered with its exclusive program, thus the importance of this activity.

The training program took place from July 16-18, during which the team visited call centers in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jacksonville, North Carolina, where 86 and 35 sales executives received updates, respectively.

The representative from the Riviera Nayarit CVB shared the competitive advantages of the destination, its hotel offer, activities, and details on why the destination is known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure—a place that combines luxury and a privileged natural landscape.
Carolyn Leary and Sandra Stanley, both RCI executives, coordinated the visits to the call centers and both coincided that the Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit is a safe region. This point of view aligns with the company’s philosophy. Thus, it’s important to keep the agents updated so they can continue to promote the destination directly with users of their reservations system.
