  • These promotional endeavors seek to motivate the markets in South America and increase the flow of tourists to the region.

The Riviera Nayarit welcomed a group of Brazilian travel agents on a FAM trip organized by BWT Manaus, one of the top wholesale agencies in Brazil.

These promotional endeavors seek to motivate the emerging markets in South America and increase the influx of visitors to this region of the Mexican Pacific.

Eleven agents from Manaus—a city of over two million inhabitants—visited the region and fell in love with the idyllic beaches, the hospitality of our tour operators, the exceptional hotel infrastructure, and, above all, the many experiences that can be enjoyed in a destination that blends luxury and nature.

During their stay the agents completed five hotel site inspections and visited several tourism attractions including the town of Sayulita, all experiences that will contribute to an increase in their sales.

“The South American market was pleasantly surprised with the product offered by the Bahía de Banderas region,” said Marc Murphy, director of the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB) and the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The general comments have been very positive as the destination exceeded most agents’ expectations.”
THE FACTS:
