Yuridia brings her “2018 Desert Tour” to the Riviera Nayarit
- Yuridia Flores—currently considered Mexico’s top ballad singer—has announced her upcoming concert on November 10that the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta.
Yuridia Flores, one of Latin America’s top artists, will be in the #RivieraNayarit on November 10th as part of her “Desert Tour.”
The singer is catalogued as one of the top 10 best Mexican artists on the world stage. Her unequaled singing voice moves her public and touches the very sensibilities of those who hear her. Among her kudos are one Diamond Record, 10 Platinum Records, and 5 Gold Records, not to mention a special recognition for having sold over two million records, making the singer Mexico’s most successful singer in the past ten years.
During a press conference held at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta—host hotel for the concert—Corppa Producciones, represented by Daniel Gudiño, informed those present that Yuridia will offer a first-class show lasting a little over two-and-a-half hours, where she’ll be singing her greatest hits along with a light show and backup dancers.
During his message, Jesús Carmona Jiménez, president of the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB), pointed out how these events give the destination a special edge to boost this new niche in the industry: musical tourism.
“The entertainment industry in Mexico, particularly music festivals, have registered a notable increase in the past decade,” he said. “People are traveling more to listen to music, and, in that regard, the Riviera Nayarit is making great strides by hosting important live shows.”
Claudio Vallarta, Liaison for the Nayarit Secretary of Tourism in Bahía de Banderas, highlighted the benefits the event will have for the Riviera Nayarit’s image and brand presence. Meanwhile, Gina Méndez, sales director for Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta, mentioned the great symbiosis between the promoters, the Riviera Nayarit CVB, and her hotel, which will serve to attract more tourists to the destination.
Tickets for sale
According to Rema Producciones’ Fortunato Moreno, the concert—part of the Play List Riviera Nayarit festival—begins on Saturday, November 10 at 6 p.m., with the presentation of Los Fumancheros and the Hermanos Sandoval.
The singer is expected to go onstage around 8 p.m. and the show will come to a close around 11 p.m.

Social Responsibility
It was announced during the press conference that Rema Producciones and Corpa Producciones will give away 10 tickets to be raffled amongst the attendees and the money raised will go to the victims of hurricane “Willa” in northern Nayarit.
