The Riviera Nayarit Trained 100 RCI Agents in Indianapolis and Jacksonville, NC

The joint activities calendar for the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust (Fidetur) included visits to Indianapolis (Indiana) and Jacksonville (North Carolina) from on July 24thand 26th to provide relevant information about the region.
The Riviera Nayarit visited vacation timeshare powerhouse RCI (Resort Condominium International), where they trained over 100 travel agents on both destinations, so they could keep in mind the vast list of destination hotels that are part of RCI.
The work schedule began on Tuesday, July 24th in Indianapolis, home base not only for the call center but also for the RCI world corporate headquarters.
They were welcomed by Levi Fistrovich, Mexico and Caribbean Destination Specialist for RCI Exchange, who is also in charge of promoting sales in Mexico. The different departments work based on managing the timeshare exchanges between members and their reservations in different accommodations, which is why it’s important these consultants to be very familiarized with the Riviera Nayarit. Doubts crop up between agents on a regular basis regarding safety, distances, and/or transportation costs—just some of the questions posed by clients.
The promotion continued in Jacksonville, North Carolina, where the team was hosted by Carolyn Leary, Director for the RCI Sales Center, bringing three intensive days of training to a close. The training, by the way, was very well received by all the vacation timeshare company’s agents and company executives.
The marketing activity revolves around the extensive presence of RCI members in the region, as there are over 20 hotels registered in their exclusive program.
Although agents are based in the United States, the global network of millions of RCI members opens up the possibility of attracting tourists from other regions beyond the natural and emerging markets for Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit.
