The Riviera Nayarit Promotes Colonial Nayarit
- Portal R7, Brazil’s second most important website, recently taped in Ixtlán del Río, Jala, Nuevo Vallarta, Las Islas Marietas and San Pancho.
The Public Relations department of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) recently put together a special itinerary for Brazil’s Portal R7, which included one of the sister brands currently being promoted by the State Government: Colonial Nayarit.
The “TV Record” segment of Portal R7 visited Ixtlán del Río and Jala in mid-August, 2015, during the celebration of the Corn Festival in Jala. They were also able to record some extraordinary footage in the Ceboruco volcano.
Back in the Riviera Nayarit, the Brazilian journalists toured Nuevo Vallarta, Las Islas Marietas and San Pancho, with a special emphasis on the Cultural Capital of the Riviera Nayarit, where they reported on the liberation of sea turtles in the Costa Verde Ecological Center.
Portal R7 Brasil is the second most important website in Brazil, with followers from every region of that country, giving them a potential viewership of over 193 million Brazilians. Its audience is made up of 47.1 million unique monthly visitors and also reaches other Portuguese speakers spread out among four continents.
It has over ten and a half million “Likes” on Facebook and its Twitter feed has nearly four million followers.
This press trip took place as part of the Riviera Nayarit – Puerto Vallarta Joint Promotional Campaign, so once they finished their tour though Nayarit, they continued their work with our neighbors to the south.
