RTVE Will Broadcast The Riviera Nayarit Throughout Spain And The Spanish-Speaking World

  • Narrator and anthropologist Miguel Blanco will be highlighting the natural beauty of the Destination as well as the ancient culture of Nayarit during the course of his legendary program, Espacio en Blanco.

One of the most recent activities of the Public Relations department of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) was in collaboration with Radio y Televisión Española (RTVE) in order to showcase the Destination throughout Spain and the Spanish-speaking countries that receive their signal.

This time the FAM trip took place in the coastal villages including Nuevo Vallarta, San Pancho, San Blas and La Isla de Mexcaltitlán, but also went inland to other destinations in Nayarit such as Tepic, Ixtlán del Río and, especially, the Huichol Tawexikta (Place of the Sun) community in order to investigate its ancient art and culture.

Narrator and anthropologist Miguel Blanco was the guest of honor on this occasion. Blanco has been called a “living legend,” with 17 uninterrupted years on the air and visits to over 140 countries in search of enigmas around the globe. His show, Espacio en Blanco (Blank Space), is Spain’s most legendary mystery radio show.

Throughout the years, Miguel Blanco has filled the airwaves with unique topics that have opened doors to other worlds for his audience. In this manner, the Riviera Nayarit CVB hopes to entice the Spanish-speaking community that listens to his show to come visit the Destination.

RTVE has seven TV signals and five radio signals, and distributes through its channels ample programming in Spain and around the world. Its stations offer the very best in Spanish-language informational, entertainment and educational content.

The Public Relation department’s goal is to tie in with the direct flights from London and Manchester, which currently bridge the gap between Europe and the Destination.
