Media In Emerging Markets Showcase The Riviera Nayarit

  • Articles written in the different media that have visited the region or participated in press conferences tout the attractions of the Destination.

Thanks to the Rivera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Public Relations department there are articles on the Riviera Nayarit circulating throughout several countries that have been identified as Emerging Markets, including Brazil, Colombia and England.

These three countries have been the top locations of origin for tourists to this region. The publications have arisen from a latent interest in the citizens to learn more about Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.

Colombia’s Revista BarMan placed the Riviera Nayarit among the top “6 Destinations to Escape to This Summer.” This magazine targets the successful man who enjoys the finer things in life. It has a quarterly circulation of 20 thousand issues.

According to the magazine: “This is the ideal destination for those who seek the perfect balance between natural landscapes, beaches and adventure. The cleanliness of its beaches and the quality of its natural landscapes have transformed this Mexican destination into an ideal space for quiet days filled with true rest and relaxation.”

The UK’s Condé Nast Travellerpublished 10 pages detailing the attractions found in Sayulita and San Pancho as well as a mention on the cover, where the Pacific Coast is highlighted as one of the newest options available in Mexico.

TNT Magazine, another UK publication, published a similar look at the Destination on four pages where they drew attention to the ecotourism, the culture and the lifestyle enjoyed in the Riviera Nayarit, with a special focus on the Islas Marietas. This magazine has a monthly circulation of 80 thousand issues.

A few of these articles were the result of the joint work with Puerto Vallarta, so both destinations are reflected in these spreads. England’s Good Housekeeping Online recently posted several articles on the cuisine, the hotel infrastructure and 10 reasons to visit the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta.

This outlet focuses on upper middle class women and registers approximately 570 thousand unique visitors to the website.

Brazil’s Revista Viagem e Turismo is also drawing attention to this region’s luxury offer to the readers of its more than 95 thousand monthly issues.
