Riviera Nayarit is strengthening its alliance with Alaska Vacations

  • During the work sessions last July in San Diego, we worked together to promote our destination in the Californian media that influences travel decisions

In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our nature, and this nature attracts thousands of Californians that are looking for an unforgettable experience. The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Alaska Vacations invited important members of the Californian media to experience first hand the magic of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.

On September 7 – 9, journalists working for California Golf News, Mexico Traveler, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, Travel Host San Diego magazine, Travel Age West, Travelling Golfer, Visions magazine, World Golfer Magazine, among others, visited Mexico’s Pacific Treasure as part of a joint public relations strategy to support Alaska Airlines flights to the destination.
These journalists visted Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Bucerias, Rincon de Guayabitos, Lo de Marcos, San Pancho and Sayulita, while they enjoyed the hospitality of The Royal Suites and Haramara Retreat.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit is a private association dedicated to promoting the destination, working closely with all sectors of society and government in order to position Riviera Nayarit as an independent destination, with great attractions, spectacular landscapes and high-quality services.
One of the strategies used by the CVB is to attract the attention of the media through PR efforts like this one with Alaska Vacations, after we detected that we needed to implement these during the work sessions that we held in San Diego and San Francisco, California, last July.
“The Convention and Visitors Bureau endorses its commitment to work intensely to achieve the objective of attracting more tourists to Mexico’s Pacific Treasure, and to distribute them along all of Nayarit in order to improve the quality of life of all our people”, concluded Fernando González Ortega, president of the CVB.
