Promotional tour in South America has generated major exposure for Riviera Nayarit
• Several publications in Brazil have already published 15 articles on Riviera Nayarit, with an estimated value of $182,000 USD
In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our magic, and this magic captured the attention of the media after a promotional tour made by the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit, which took place between October and November in South America.
To date, there have been 15 articles featured in important publications in Brazil, targeting both on the public, as well as professionals of the touristic industry, and these have derived directly from the marketing efforts of the CVB in that country.
“We’re very interested in tourism from Brazil, as travel statistics indicate that we can attract this market. We’ve gathered interesting information from RCI’s Information Book, the largest vacation exchange agency in the world. According to them, it’s expected that Brazilians will spend approximately 17 billion dollars in international travel in 2013.”
Travelers’ profiles indicate that approximately 11% would travel to Mexico, and RCI’s Brazilian user’s base grew 30% in 2012 with respect to the previous year, reaching 65,000 members”, said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the CVB of Riviera Nayarit.
The articles that were featured in Brazilian publications after the CVB’s work tour have an estimated value of $182,035 USD, which represents an important ROI for this promotional tour in South America.
The CVB is a non-profit organization that works under the direction of the Hotel and Motel Association of Bahía de Banderas in order to promote the entire Riviera Nayarit. Through efforts like this one, we’re promoting tourist activity and fostering the harmonious development of all the people in Nayarit.
