The Riviera Nayarit’s hotels offer diverse activities for their guests, ranging from exclusive experiences and spectacular events to the finest cuisine. They also stand out for their certifications and recognitions or for their particular programs to benefit the environment.

Below are the most relevant activities planned this month by some of the hotels in our destination:

W Punta de Mita at the 2021 Restaurant Week

The W Punta de Mita hotel is front and center at the 2021 Restaurant Week via the Venazú restaurant, inspired by the Huichol legend of the blue deer. Venazú offers contemporary Mexican flavors in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

The 2021 Restaurant Week will be held September 15 through October 10 in Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta restaurants. This is an exceptional opportunity for residents and tourists to enjoy the finest dining at special prices

This year, Venazú is going all out with a three-course menu created by chefs Juan Guizzo and Marcos Lepe, who have achieved a delicious fusion between traditional Mexican cuisine (for example, Oaxacan) and the Nayarit state cuisine, using the region’s freshest ingredients. The menu consists of three appetizers and salads, three main courses, and three desserts to choose from for MXN 466 per person.

Venazú is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Reservations are required.

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit protects traveling bees

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit hotel launched its Guardians of Wildlife program focused on protecting the bees found along the coast of the Mexican Pacific Ocean. In addition to being chosen by valued guests each year, bees also prefer the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit to rest and feed during their pollination journey. As part of the program, the hotel built temporary “suites” for the traveling bees. These wooden structures, conditioned with honey and pheromones to attract them inside, provide a comfortable space for them to take a break and build their hives. In addition to the suites, the program includes workshops for families to learn about bees and their importance in the pollination cycle that produces more than 75% of the food we consume worldwide.
