The Riviera Nayarit Center Stage In The International Media
- The Destination has received millions of media impressions in North America’s top media as well as across the ocean in Spain, China and even Vietnam.
The Riviera Nayarit has taken center stage in the international media lately, whether as a result of a direct action taken by the PR department of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), an international event that took place at the Destination or simply because of media interest.
Private Clubs published an article on some of the many reasons why you should visit the Riviera Nayarit, making it the first destination in Mexico to appear in this prestigious luxury magazine.
The latest program by host and birder James Currie about the Riviera Nayarit was not only broadcast on the Discovery Channel, but was also published on the specialty birder page, 10,000 Birds.
Huffington Post recommended the nine beaches in the Riviera Nayarit it considers true gems: Carreyeros, Playa Escondida, Litibú, Platanitos, the beach at Imanta, El Capomo, Las Islitas, Sayulita and San Pancho all were on the list.
Travel Weekly and its nearly half a million unique monthly visitors also added to the Destination’s positioning. This is where top journalist Gay Nagle Myers described a lush and attractive Riviera Nayarit in her latest articles.
In Canada, The Province and Vancouver Sun, with nearly a million and a half impressions each, published articles on the luxury of Punta Mita thanks to well-known writer Irene Thomas. She also published the article “If you love unspoiled Mexico, meet Nayarit” in the Star-Telegram in the US.
Ryan Rudnansky wrote a post for TravelPulse.comwhere he highlighted the destinations that are investing their time in improving their visitors’ overall experience and the Riviera Nayarit was front and center.
USA Today, the United States’ largest newspaper, published a list of recommendations of where to spend the Day of the Dead in Mexico. Written by Lois Alter Mark, both Nuevo Vallarta and Sayulita were on the list. USA Today also published an article on where you should or shouldn’t travel with family and, obviously, the Riviera Nayarit was among those recommended.
