Marriott Bonvoy Traveler showcases the Riviera Nayarit’s attractions

Online magazine Marriott Bonvoy Traveler published two extensive articles on the Riviera Nayarit, highlighting Punta de Mita, San Pancho, and Sayulita among the beach destinations to visit this year in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Marriott Bonvoy Traveler is an excellent platform to present the Luxury and Nature of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure to the world via a series of stories highlighting the gastronomy, culture, and activities this Destination offers.

In addition to publicizing Punta de Mita’s wonders on a page dedicated exclusively to the “Glamour Peninsula,” the online magazine published stories of other iconic sites. In its April edition, the magazine published the article “Ready to pamper yourself? Enjoy the Caribbean and Latin America to the fullest through these luxury experiences,” written by Jennifer Fernández Solano, where she includes Punta de Mita and its decadent luxury.

Jennifer also highlights the wellness trips and spas that have a starring role in the luxurious Remède Spa at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort and AWAY Spa at the W Punta de Mita. The spas offer everything from multiple pools and hydrotherapy treatments surrounded by nature to treatments inspired by Huichol healing techniques.

Hidden gems

A second feature article titled “Are these beach towns in the Caribbean and Latin America the next big thing?” lists the quiet village of San Francisco, affectionately known as San Pancho, as “the next big thing” among the Riviera Nayarit’s coastal towns.

“World-famous tourist resorts have achieved that status for a reason, but visitors will often find that the more remote areas away from these hubs offer a multitude of hidden gems to discover….”

Increased online presence

The inclusion in this platform is the result of the promotional work being done every day to position the Riviera Nayarit among the best destinations in the world, said Marc Murphy, managing director of the Riviera Nayarit Visitors and Convention Bureau (CVB).

“Increasing our online presence is still one of Riviera Nayarit’s main objectives in 2021. The influence of this medium in the purchase decision of international travelers is growing and is becoming the fastest-growing factor for hotel reservations,” he said.

The Riviera Nayarit is a safe destination. Our hotels, restaurants, and tourist establishments follow all the health protocols established by the Federal Government’s Ministry of Health and operate at the allowed capacities. Access to the beaches is limited. Be a responsible tourist: wear your mask and keep your distance.
