7 Spectacular Instagram-Worthy Sceneries in Riviera Nayarit
Instagram is the place to see and be seen—when you travel, you simply can’t miss uploading your best pics on social media. In the Riviera Nayarit, we have plenty of spectacular scenery that’s totally Insta-worthy. Check out these suggestions: you’ll have to put more than one of them on your list!
1) Islas Marietas
Islas Marietas (or Marietas Islands) are at the very top of our list: they’re the most-wanted by the thousands of tourists who visit the Riviera Nayarit every year. This is one of our favorite tours. Don’t forget that you’ll have to swim to get to it and you’ll need a water-proof camera to avoid accidents. Look for that center point—you’ll want the crater of Hidden Beach to be in the pic.
2) The paper flag street in Sayulita
This place is head-to-head with the Islas Marietas for first place. No matter what time you walk down the street you’ll find a spot to take that iconic shot: don’t be embarrassed and ask passersby to let you shoot it without them in the background. That will be the perfect touch!
3 The Marina at La Cruz
The Marina at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle offers amazing views and you’ll have different backgrounds to choose from. On one side there’s the beach and on the other the boats, then there are the impressive views of the Bay and never mind the sunsets—unforgettable!
4 San Pancho’s Lo de Perla Orchidarium
The Riviera Nayarit is more than just beaches: Here the Lo de Perla Orchidarium offers some of the most amazing natural scenery in the region. You’ll be transported by the jungle and the amazing flora and fauna, not to mention the décor. The best time to visit the orchidarium is from September to March.
5 Isla Coral in Guayabitos
The Isla Coral (Coral Island) is a spectacular natural aquarium. The view from here is dreamy and the unreal color of its crystalline water is hypnotic. The best part is the many photo ops you’ll have, from paddling on an SUP board, snorkeling, or just sunning yourself on the sand.
6 The Paseo del Beso in Bucerías
The Paseo del Beso—Kiss Alley—is the most romantic stop on our list and a very special place for couples who visit Bucerías. It’s just a few steps from the center of town: a place where different artists have decorated the walls in a distinctive way. Photo ops? They’re endless! Just don’t forget to kiss the one you’re with…
7 The palafitosat San Blas
These overwater water structures are the most original landmark on the list. Located right in the middle of La Tovara lagoon, these palafitos were once part of a set for the movie Cabeza de Vaca. Today they’re a hotspot for tourists to San Blas—your pic will definitely be the coolest one on Instagram!
Did you already take a pic at one of these hotspots in the Riviera Nayarit? We want to see it! Don’t forget to share using the #RivieraNayarit hashtag on your social media—we love to see you having fun!
