Tequila Beach Rally Harley-Davidson 2019 in the Riviera Nayarit
- The Legend continues on the beautiful beaches of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure with one of the best experiences on wheels.
Motorcycles, music, beach, and lots of fun at the 2019 Harley-Davidson Tequila Beach Rally, where 250 bikers came together to enjoy one of the best experiences of their lives.
The event took off on Thursday, May 2nd in Guadalajara under the slogan “The Legend continues…” and went on to the town of Tequila, with a grand finale in the Riviera Nayarit. Several activities were held for participants at the Grand Sirenis Hills Resort and the Eva Mandarina beach club, including the traditional Tequila Beach Party.
This year bikers came in from several cities including Guadalajara, Queretaro, Veracruz, Monterrey, Mexico City, and even Merida.
“We love to have fun our way, rolling and enjoying Mexico’s highways,” said Valeria Villaseñor, event coordinator.
The main purpose of this national ride was to encourage camaraderie, as families were just as welcome as couples.
“Harley-Davidson is a lifestyle and it’s not just for men, it’s not exclusive. This is for the brave ones that dare to break out of the mold and follow their dreams and go places where they’ve never been before riding their faithful companion,” she added.
The Wixárika culture, part of the Riviera Nayarit’s signature promotion, was also present during the party with colorful details that caught the attention of the bikers, who also fell in love with Nayarit’s beaches.
That evening, a light show on the beach showcased the presentation of bands Genitallica and Revolver, marking the end of the national Harley-Davidson rally.
For the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB), the hosting of events, conventions, and meetings is the culmination of the intense tourism promotion in effect since the launch of the brand, which has allowed the positioning of the destination as a preferred destination among national and international travelers.
