“Spanish Autumn” In The Riviera Nayarit

  • Four top Spanish media dedicated their Tourism and Lifestyle sections to Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.

Four journalists from top Spanish media visited the destination between October 28 and November 4 to gather information for a special article that will then be included in the Tourism and Lifestyle sections of their respective magazines and newspapers.

The press trip was named Spanish-Autumn and included the participation of Juan Ramón López from the magazine Semana; Mario Suárez of Shopping & Style; Pablo León of El País Semanal; and Jesús Huarte of Ronda Iberia, invited by Ángel Amador of the Acción y Comunicación public relations firm in Spain.

The journalists experienced much of the luxury offer available in Nuevo Vallarta and Punta de Mita, where they enjoyed the hospitality of Dreams Villa Magna, a AAA Four-Diamond property ideal for family, as well as the “W Experience” at the W Punta de Mita, a brand aligned with the growing LGBT segment.

Afterwards they journeyed north to Lo de Marcos, a traditional village on the coast of Nayarit, where Xplore México welcomed them for a trip to Isla del Coral in Rincon de Guayabitos for a day of SUP and snorkeling. The return to Lo de Marcos was a bit extreme, as a boat towed their paddleboards at a very impressive speed.
The next stop was in San Pancho, the Culture Capital of the Riviera Nayarit, where they not only sampled its famous gastronomy, but they also had a chance to visit the Entre Amigos Community Center and the Tercer Mundo Avenue with its galleries and shops.

The third day was taken up by a visit to Sayulita, the Surfing Capital of the Riviera Nayarit, where the visitors experienced the region’s most popular sport by riding the waves.
The visit by these Spanish journalists is part of the work done by the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Bahia de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB), with the support of the government of the State of Nayarit and the Tourism Promotion Trust, to help drive tourism in the destination.
