The Riviera Nayarit ISO The Mexico City Luxury Market
- My Way magazine positions the Riviera Nayarit within the most exclusive areas of the capital as a destination offering Luxury, Nature, Ecotourism, Gastronomy and Culture.
The Riviera Nayarit is in search of the Luxury Segment in Mexico City via the most October/November 2015 issue of My Way magazine, which specializes in fashion and trends. This particular issue contains the article titled “Riviera Nayarit, un paraíso en México” (The Riviera Nayarit: Paradise In Mexico).
Many of the actions executed by the Public Relations Department of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) go beyond one main objective. In fact, they usually generate additional positive outcomes for the Destination. One example is the collaboration with fashion designer Aline Moreno and her “Wixárica” line; she was also interviewed in the same issue of My Way.
“We’re looking for the tourist with high purchasing power who will spend more, is environmentally conscious and will care for our beaches as well as enjoy them,” stated Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit CVB.
My Way has positioned the Riviera Nayarit as a Luxury, Nature, Ecotourism, Gastronomy and Culture destination. Its 10 thousand issues are distributed to hotels, salons, retail stores, private hospitals, restaurants, cafeterias and fashion ateliers in the most exclusive areas of the nation’s capital.
These establishments are concentrated in Santa Fe, La Condesa and Roma, among others that are frequented by the residents of Polanco, Lomas de Chapultepec, San Angelín and Lomas de San Ángel, just to mention a few. The magazine impacts the A, B and C+ economic segments directly.
Mexico City is the third city of origin in number of tourists to the Riviera Nayarit behind Jalisco and Guanajuato, therefore, it’s of key importance to attend to the inhabitants of this area.
