MTB Launches “Welcome Patricias” Campaign
- Every Patricia from the United States and Canada is welcome to participate in the drawing for an all-expense paid trip simply by publishing a video or a photograph at www.welcomepatricias.com that shows just how ready they are to come visit the Mexican Pacific.
The Mexico Tourism Board (MTB) launched the creative campaign titled “Welcome Patricias” in order to take advantage of the interest and expectations generated by Hurricane Patricia along Mexico’s Pacific Coast, with the intention of promoting the Riviera Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo.
“This is a very timely, attractive and original campaign that will serve to give notice that we’re ready to receive tourism just as we are every year, especially during this winter season,” stated Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We’d like to thank the MTB for their support and consideration in backing this region.”
The invitation goes at to all women named “Patricia” from the United States and Canada; in order to be eligible for the grand prize they must publish a picture or a video demonstrating their readiness to travel to the Mexican Pacific.
The website www.welcomepatricias.com was created especially for this activity; here they can publish their pics and videos as well as peruse the contest rules.
They can also participate with the hashtags #WelcomePatricias and #Sweepstakes on Instagram and Twitter. The prize is an all-expense paid trip for two.
“Welcome Patricias” is open through December 31, 2015. Participants must be women aged 18 or older from the United States and Canada, except Quebec.
