Official Unveiling Of The Sanctuary Convention Center
- The event was held on a lovely evening for local and national press and media specializing in the MICE segment, as well as several incentive companies and meeting planners; entertainer Kalimba was a special surprise guest, regaling the attendees with his music.
The anticipation generated with the laying of the cornerstone in October of 2014 was amply rewarded last Saturday, August 22nd, when the All Inclusive Collection officially unveiled Sanctuary, the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta’s new convention center in Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit.
Sanctuary is currently the largest convention center in the Riviera Nayarit with 1,200 square meters of space. Its facilities are ready to welcome over 1,500 people and its cutting edge technology can easily accommodate conventions, seminars, cocktails, banquets, shows, concerts, plays, sports events and more.
Already over a dozen groups have been confirmed for events extending over the next few months, representing over six thousand people who would have traveled to other destinations had they not had this option with its ample dimensions and services.
“Over 70 percent of the commercial activity with groups occurs with regular clients,” commented Bernardo Santillana, Corporate Commercial Director for the Domestic Market at the Hard Rock Hotels/All Inclusive Collection. “With this expansion we hope to attend to the majority of the needs of our clients as well as those of the Destination. We offer the highest level of personalization and adapt to each guest and each group, which allows us to exceed expectations and give them richer experiences and memories.”
The presentation was held for local and national press, and media specializing in the MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions), as well as incentive companies and meeting planners. The evening included a surprise appearance by Kalimba, who thrilled the attendees with his songs.
Sanctuary is now ready to support the efforts the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has been making in its objective of positioning the Destination in the Meetings Tourism.
