Brazilian Press Will Showcase This Tourism Region
- The eight Brazilian journalists that recently visited the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta write for luxury media outlets that could deliver an estimated 700 thousand impressions for the region.
A group of eight Brazilian journalists specializing in the luxury market were in the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta from the end of July through the first week of August on a FAM trip organized by the Joint Promotional Campaign’s Public Relations team.
The journalists’ comments included a commitment to broadcast the attractions of this Pacific tourism region to the best of their abilities, particularly showcasing the gastronomy, the beaches, the top-level hotels and the local culture.
“There’s no doubt the Riviera Nayarit is a great option for Brazilians,” said Marcio Cimmati from A Janela Laranja, one of the most influential blogs in Brazil. “For example, right now it’s wintertime in Brazil and here it’s 86˚ with beautiful beaches, so it’s perfect for winter holidays.”
“We love the service at the hotels,” added Andressa Furtado of GPS Brasilia, a website and magazine distributed in the country’s capital, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. “The people are very friendly and the beaches are fantastic and so varied. It’s hard to choose the best hotels—they have very high standards of quality and they’re very competitive. They like that in Brazil.”
Other writers in the group represented Revista Kaza, Portal IG, La Revista Joyce Pascowitch, Revista Oscar de Grupo Dória, Portal RG and Revista Top View. Together, these outlets have the potential to generate over 700 thousand media impressions benefitting both destinations.
After they finished visiting Puerto Vallarta, the Riviera Nayarit welcomed them to tour the best of the Destination. The first stop was Punta Mita, followed by the Islas Marietas.
The multicultural aspects of the Riviera Nayarit are part of its luxury offerings, which is why they also visited San Pancho and Sayulita, where the cosmopolitan ambiance left a favorable impression. They didn’t skimp on the shopping, which continued in Bucerías. Before they left, the journalists also visited the “musts,” including the Marina Riviera Nayarit and the luxury villas at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
