Brazil’s Viagem e Turismo Magazine Toured The Riviera Nayarit
- This important Brazilian publication with a run of over 120 thousand issues specializes in luxury destinations and has a target market of individuals with high net worth.
Success is obtained through perseverance, vision and passion—three qualities that the Public Relations Department of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) takes very much into account when organizing press trips. This is why that office chose Brazil’s Viagem e Turismo magazine to visit the destination.
Viagem e Turismo is a magazine specializing in luxury tourism destinations, with a readership that is 2/3 women and 1/3 men, all within the AB socioeconomic group, that is, men and women with a high net worth who enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures.
The Riviera Nayarit offers the luxury and culture needed to attract such a market, proving itself with an itinerary that took the writer on a tour of several properties that are the epitome of luxury.
The press trip took place on March 23rd through the 30th. Brazilian journalist Fabricio de Souza arrived at the Grand Luxxe hotel in Nuevo Vallarta, which has just been awarded Five Diamonds by the AAA.
The next day began with the requisite visit to Punta Mita, the Riviera Nayarit’s Glamour Peninsula and the most exclusive development in Mexico, where he enjoyed touring The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort and the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, both of which are also AAA Five Diamond recipients.
The Riviera Nayarit’s iconic Islas Marietas were next on the itinerary for the Brazilian journalist, who was surprised by the natural beauty of the area. This visit was followed by a tour of the Surf Capital of Sayulita and the Cultural Capital of San Pancho, which were both included to demonstrate the diversity of the area’s microdestinations.
Finally, Fabricio de Souza enjoyed a visit to the AAA Four-Diamond Villa La Estancia, followed by a tour of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, known as the Nautical Capital of the Riviera Nayarit, and its Marina, considered the most modern on Mexico’s Pacific Coast.
After experiencing the surfing, the gastronomy, the spas, the nature and the luxury offerings of the Riviera Nayarit, the writer’s travels took him to Puerto Vallarta, as the joint promotion continues to be in full swing and the collaboration between the destinations intensifies.
