The Riviera Nayarit Takes Over The Airwaves

  • The popular radio show ¡Qué tal Fernanda! hosted by Fernanda Familiar, broadcast a special edition from the Iberostar Playa Mita, where she spoke about the Riviera Nayarit to the 21 states that receive her signal and to thousands of her social media followers.

The Iberostar Playa Mita has recently carried out a number of promotional activities, including a live broadcast from its facilities that took place towards the end of September: the program, ¡Qué tal Fernanda! hosted by Fernanda Familiar, was dedicated entirely to Mexico’s Pacific Treasure and included the participation of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau.

“The Riviera Nayarit is a paradise, it’s definitely a place that every Mexican citizen should visit,” said Fernanda Familiar. “It’s a very important destination with a tourist development that’s crucial for Mexico, with plenty of history included. This is a place that is a reflection of the Mexico we all need to experience, where you’ll find hard-working people, large-scale investment, warmth, nature… In short, it’s everything one looks for in a destination. It’s a must-visit.”

The most relevant information regarding the Iberostar Playa Mita and the Riviera Nayarit was broadcast to the more than 20 Mexican states that receive the radio signal from Grupo Imagen Multimedia; it’s also broadcast to the state of Texas.

Its coverage area includes the metropolitan area, the Bajío and the northern area of the country, regions that send a large number of tourists to the Riviera Nayarit.

¡Qué tal Fernanda! was conceived as a show for a broad audience and includes conversations on health, interviews, spots on other cultures, history, the arts, news, theater, music and more.

Its audience is composed of 61% women and 39% men, over 70% of them are between 25 and 54 years of age; 28% of its followers fall within the A-B socioeconomic levels with 67% being classified as level C.

Fernanda Familiar also has over 240 thousand followers on Facebook and more than 500 thousand on Twitter, where there was a lot of interaction during the show. Imagen Radio has over 90 thousand followers on Facebook and more than 20 thousand on Twitter.

With less than a year since its inauguration, the Iberostar Playa Mita has achieved a 90% occupancy rate thanks to the excellent strategies it has in place; this includes hosting the radio show, which will undoubtedly achieve good results.
