Once TV Will Showcase The Riviera Nayarit In Select Markets

  • The TV show D’Todo con Pamela produced four different episodes in different destinations within Nayarit; these will have a reach that encompasses 75.26% of the entire country of Mexico, as well as audiences within the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.

The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) coordinated a FAM trip with the Instituto Politécnico Nacional’s Canal Once TV station during the last days of March to promote the destination.
They produced four shows that will be airing in about three months on the popular program D’Todo con Pamela.

The signal reaches 29 cities in Mexico on open channels, as well as the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada through its international signal. The coverage of Once TV will without a doubt reach captive markets including Nayarit, Distrito Federal, Nuevo León, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, León, Morelia and of course, North America.

The signal reaches 579 townships through pay TV and, as if that weren’t enough, it is distributed via paid satellite signals throughout the entire country of Mexico.

The actual coverage of Canal Once includes 32.35% of open channels plus coverage extended by the broadcast relay stations operated by the Organismo Promotor de Medios Audiovisuales (OPMA). This adds up to 34.42%, bringing the total up to 66.67%. Medium range projections indicate a total coverage of 75.26% of the domestic territory.

Pamela and her production team were surprised by the uniqueness of the hippie chic Surf Capital of Sayulita, they were enthralled by the Cultural Capital of San Pancho and they enjoyed the gastronomy and the history of the Port of San Blas, as well as all the ancient culture of the Nayar Sierra.

All of the elements of these communities that make the Riviera Nayarit a standout will be promoted and will no doubt be very attractive to the domestic and international markets, especially thanks to the important impact of audiovisual communication and the large numbers of television viewers within the population. 

The Riviera Nayarit’s public relations work has proven once again to be extremely valuable, especially when the initial investment is compared with the return once these productions have completed their cycle.
