Día de la Revolución Parade in La Peñita

Día de la Revolución (Mexican Revolution Day) takes place on November 20th and commemorates the Mexican revolution of 1910 led by Francisco Madero. To celebrate, there is always a mid-morning parade along the Avenida in La Peñita starting at 9am. Many of the local school children are dressed in costumes, plus there are bands, dancing horses and much more. Here are a few of my favorite photos from today’s parade…
