The Gourmet Experience returns to Riviera Nayarit

  • In 2012, the gastronomic experience of a progressive dinner has found a host of new flavors at Mexico’s Pacific Treasure

In Riviera Nayarit luxury means taste. This year we’re celebrating the second season of the Gourmet Experience Progressive Dinner, which will allow visitors in our destination to enjoy the flavors of three different venues in one unforgettable vacation experience.
The Gourmet Experience is a progressive dinner that allows visitors to make a gastronomic tour through three of the best restaurants in Riviera Nayarit. The tour includes an initial 6-course menu featuring dishes paired with wines from Casa Madero.
Nicksan, Ginger Garden and Porto Bello are the participating restaurants in this edition of the Gourmet Experience. Three routes have been defined, and these will alternate each day so that foodies can choose their preferred menus, as these will vary according to the route.
“The gastronomic reputation of Riviera Nayarit is on the rise, due to the talent of its chefs and the quality of its restaurants, which benefit from the freshness of the ingredients that can be found in the region, including a large variety of seafood, fruits and vegetables”, said Mark Murphy, Managing Director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit, in an article published last year by Travel Weekly, one of the main B2B information resources for the touristic industry in the United States and Canada.
The CVB of Riviera Nayarit works tirelessly to promote our destination, in order to recover the trust from the market and to attract more tourists. Related touristic events like the Gourmet Experience are an invaluable asset to these marketing efforts, and this is why the CVB celebrates this initiative, which will bring these three restaurants together.
