Riviera Nayarit keeps shining
- In 2012 the AAA honored 52 hotels and restaurants in Riviera Nayarit with Three, Four and Five Diamond Awards
In Riviera Nayaritluxury means magic, and it’s this very magic what has made this destination shine internationally with the Diamonds that have been awarded by the American Automobile Association to hotels and restaurants in this destination.
52 hotels and restaurants in Riviera Nayarit have received the AAA award, as they were classified by the AAA as Three, Four and Five Diamonds – the top recognition offered by this organization.
Four Seasons Punta Mita, St. Regis Punta Mita and Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit renewed their Five Diamond status this year. These three properties located in Mexico’s Pacific Treasure are part of a select group of 126 hotels in North America that have been privileged with this classification.
Vallarta Palace, Marival Residences & World Spa, Villa La Estancia, RIU Palace Pacifico, Casa de Mita, Hotel Cinco, Grand Mayan and Dreams Villa Magna received the Four Diamond Award, and a number of venues in Riviera Nayarit received the Three Diamond Award.
The AAA also awarded Diamonds to many restaurants in Riviera Nayarit. “With such high ratings and statistics, we can certainly say that those who travel to this destination for the first time are sure to become repeat visitors, and will also spread the voice of all the advantages of this destination. We’re therefore encouraging all of our 53 million members to visit this region”, said Tony Perrone, AAA’s Travel Manager for Mexico.
