Snorqueling and family day at Riviera Nayarit

This is Platanitos Beach, in Riviera Nayarit, that used the place where coconut oil, tobacco and cotton produced at Hacienda Ixtapa were shipped abroad. Today, this smal bay  of peaceful waters is the perfect place to spend a family day. Apart from the delicious restaurants on the beach, great snorqueling is awaiting on the sourrondings where you´ll find sunk old boats serving as reefs.  To get there, take the Tepic-Vallarta road and get Las Varas, there you must take the detour to San Blas, you will find Platanitos just before Santa Cruz de Miramar.
