Riviera Nayarit is attracting convention and incentive-based travel organizers

  • Twelve specialists form the incentive and convention travel industry visited the destination known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure

In Riviera Nayarit luxury means conventions. Recently, twelve specialists in the organization of incentives and conventions toured our destination together with the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit and the wholesaler Tropical Incentives.
“The CVB of Riviera Nayarit is seeking to attract niche markets like this one, in order to increase the flow of visitors to our destination and to reactivate the economy for all the people of Nayarit”, said CVB’s President, Fernando González Ortega.
“The Convention and Visitors Bureau has placed the event and convention segment as a priority within the marketing scheme for our destination, as these contribute to generate direct occupancy in hotels and to accomplish the objectives defined by the State Government headed by Roberto Sandoval, in order to attract tourism to Nayarit and to benefit the People”, he stated.
Representatives from Arlington Group, Peninsula Builders Exchange, Morris Meeting & Incentives, Krasdale Foods Inc., Aurora Casket Company, Alpha Marketing Group, Power Planners, Kintetsu International Express, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Landmark, Bridgestone Retail Operations y Growmark, personally experienced the advantages that the destination known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure has to offer, for both incentive-based travel, as for work meetings.
Besides experiencing the hotel infrastructure and the organization of events available in Nuevo Vallarta, Flamingos, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Destiladeras, El Anclote, Punta Mita and Litibu, they were able to enjoy sailing and the best nautical sports, as well as swimming with dolphins.
“Incentive and convention tourism is not only important because it means more tourists, but also because the associated economic downpour is approximately twice as high as that of the average tourist, and is distributed throughout service providers along the state. This is the reason why it’s one of our priorities”, concluded González Ortega.
