Riviera Nayarit has thousands of people tweeting
The Grand Velas Hotel and the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Riviera Nayarit have created a joint strategy to use social networks to promote our destination
On your mark, ready, set… everybody tweet the benefits of visiting Riviera Nayarit. Last Thursday, November 18, the popular Internet website ZipSetGo.com visited our destination as part of a joint strategy organized by the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Hotel, resulting in thousands of messages being sent over the Internet via Twitter.
April, Rachel and Sara Beth created the Traveler’s Night In (#TNI) concept to provide their blog followers and journalists the opportunity to interact with them for 90 minutes and discuss a specific touristic product. Furthermore, this was the first time in which these journalists sent their messages from the destination itself.
Their Internet website offers information on more than 100 tourist destinations throughout the world, providing access to reliable, easy to understand and collaborative information about the best travel locations. Their blog and website register up to 2,800 daily visitors from 67 countries, mainly from the United States.
