The Grand Prize winners will enjoy a $25,000 luxury all-inclusive beach weddingat the AAA Five-Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, as well as exclusive benefits for a maximum of 15 guests who stay at the hotel.
So how can you participate and win this luxury “I do?”
1. Follow the @WeddingsbyVelas account on Pinterest
2. Create “The Story of Us” board with the description “Told by our friends” in the Wedding category
3. Pin the contest image
4. Invite a minimum of 5 friends to pin or repin their most important moments they’ve shared with the couple to the board
Each pin must have the hashtag #TheStoryofUs. Finally, couples must visit www.velasweddings.com/thestoryofus and complete the registration form with their Pinterest username and URL of their “The Story of Us” board.
The Velas Resorts Executive Committee will choose 10 finalists, based on creativity and originality of their stories, and then public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite among the finalists.
Entries must be submitted between August 15 and September 15, 2014. Public voting will occur from September 18-30, 2014, and the winners notified on October 2, 2014 via the Velas Weddings blog and Velas Weddings social media channels. Couples must hold the wedding between October 2, 2014 and October 15, 2015.
