4th MITA TechTalks In The Riviera Nayarit
- The leading minds in tech will be meeting at the St Regis Punta Mita Resort along with entrepreneurs, new talent and government authorities to analyze the economy, the technology and the cultural tendencies that impact tech innovation in Mexico and Latin America.
Latin America’s annual innovative tech conference, the upcoming MITA TechTalks, was announced during a press conference at the St Regis Punta Mita Resorts. The event will take place November 9-11 in Punta Mita, Riviera Nayarit.
This meeting will bring together some of the leading minds in the entrepreneurial tech ecosystem in Mexico and Silicon Valley. There will be approximately 150 attendees, among them, entrepreneurs, new talent, government authorities and businessmen.
Lynne Bairstow, the founder of the MITA Institute (Mita Institute and Tech Accelerator), Carl Emberson, the GM of St Regis, and entrepreneur Hilda Camacho, were in charge of announcing the event.
“It’s a real pleasure to host this event once again here in Punta Mita in the Riviera Nayarit,” said Carl Emberson. “When one looks back at the destination over the past few years it’s possible to see that events of this kind not only generate interest in the destination, but also generate business for the people who live and work in the area.”
During the MITA TechTalks 2014 the attendees will seek to analyze the economy, the technology and the cultural tendencies that impact tech innovation in Mexico and Latin America.
Punta Mita is the second home to many leaders in the tech and venture capital industries from the US and Canada. This phenomenon is due in large part to the excellent air connectivity between the Riviera Nayarit and North America, as well as the serenity and service industry leaders seek, all offered by this very exclusive tourism development in Mexico.
With events such as these the markets continue to diversify in the meetings and incentives segment. Taking in consideration the implied coverage the MITA TechTalks will have in over 10 countries, it is inherently a genuine tool for the promotion and positioning of the destination.
It is expected the audience viewing the event stream will surpass the 20 thousand viewers that checked in last year via the Web. To follow the live stream, please visit the official page at http://mitainstitute.com.
