Nuevo Vallarta and Flamingos have excellent golf courses, and Grupo Vidanta’s Nuevo Vallarta Golf Course also offers the incredible opportunity to learn your swing from the very best at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy. The El Tigre Golf Course, designed by Robert Von Hagge, is one of the toughest in the region. Finally, there’s the Flamingos Golf Course, which has the distinction of being the first in the region and was designed by Percy Clifford.

There are three large water parks near Nuevo Vallarta where there’s much fun to be had. Vallarta Adventures offers tours, the opportunity to swim with the dolphins and much more.
