The Riviera Nayarit is a finalist in Hemispheres Readers’ Choice Awards

  • Mexico’s Pacific Treasure competed in the categories of Best International Honeymoon Destination and Best International Beach Destination and placed highly in both.

September kicks off with good news for the Riviera Nayarit when it was named a finalist in the annual Hemispheres Readers’ Choice Awards “Best of 2021” published by United Airlines’ in-flight magazine.

The Riviera Nayarit entered the Best International Honeymoon Destination and Best International Beach Destination categories, and in both placed highly as a finalist (similar to an honorable mention).

The first category was contested by none other than France and Italy, two legendary romance destinations; in the second category the Riviera Nayarit’s famous Playa del Amor (Hidden Beach) shared the list with Australia’s Bondi Beach and French Polynesia’s Bora Bora.

The voting period began on June 18 and ended on July 10, although the final results were only recently announced in the September issue of Hemispheres magazine.
