World’s Best Awards is one of the most important accolades of its kind, as it is the readers of T+L who vote to define the score based on their travel experience around the world. In it, they share their opinions on the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruises, spas, airlines, and more.
This year’s poll was open for voting from January 11 to May 10, 2021, as destinations worldwide were removing COVID-19 restrictions. According to T+L, each of the places on this list offers distinct ways to connect with the culture and environment of their region.
Inspiring travelers
Marc Murphy, managing director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau, commented on how the list could impact new travelers worldwide when considering a stay at the properties mentioned above.
“We hope that this year’s award winners will inspire upcoming travelers to visit our destination, which, by the way, has been awarded the World Travel and Tourism Council’s (WTTC) Safe Travels Stamp. This assures travelers that the Riviera Nayarit is a superior option for an ideal getaway, offering tranquility and safety in every sense of the word,” he added.
