Come savor the Riviera Nayarit at the 7th Taste of Lo de Marcos!
- The seventh edition of this event will be held on Sunday February 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at this coastal village’s main plaza.
The taste of the coast of Nayarit will be on display at the Taste of Lo de Marcos 2020. The event’s 7th edition will be held on Sunday, February 23rd in this Riviera Nayarit coastal village, where food and entertainment come together to form a perfect afternoon.

The Taste of Lo de Marcos was created and organized by Galván Real Estate and Services. Not only does it offer entertainment for foreign residents, tourists, and locals, but it has also become an important fundraiser that benefits local non-profit organizations.
This year, the Taste will be held at the town’s Main Plaza from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and it promises more fun than ever with live music, handicrafts booths, and, of course, a “taste” of the best restaurants in the area, from the simplest of dishes to five-star dinners.
An event with a cause
All the money raised during this event will be equally divided between the Citizens Action Committee and Friends of Lo de Marcos. The latter offers financing and services for many community projects; the Citizens Action Committee is in charge of organizing the traditional and cultural events held here every year.
Luis Armando Contreras Galván, director of Galván Real Estate and Services and president of Amigos de Lo de Marcos, commended the work done by both organizations and invited locals, residents, and tourists to come enjoy the planned activities:
“We’re happy that this event is a success every year, because it truly brings the community together. After six great events we’re all anxiously awaiting the 7th Taste of Lo de Marcos,” he said.
