Celebrate art and culture at the 7th Festival Sayulita 2020!

The Riviera Nayarit is ready to welcome the 7th Festival Sayulita 2020. This year’s theme revolves around Community, integrating its distinctive characteristics of Film, Music, Cocktils, Live, and Art into events that extend from January 31st through February 2nd.
During its seventh edition, this singular festival celebrates the unique magic that makes Sayulita, Nayarit’s boho-chic village so special with the tagline: “Think big. Think creatively. Think about the community.”
The program is varied and includes movie nights under the stars, theater productions, farm-to-table dinners, live music, drinks, and yoga… It’s all fun and active!
Commitment with the community
Meanwhile, 2020 represents a renewal of the organizers’ commitment with the community: The Centro Creativo + Reciclaje (Creative + Recycling Center), one of the festival’s main projects.
The festival’s activities have been divided this year into three big “macro events:”
Movies in the Sand: Free movies for the town of Sayulita and friends! Family movies will be screened on the beach across from La Terrazola restaurant starting January 31st at 7:00 p.m. Free.
7th Stumble in the Jungle 10K: This traditional race takes place on Saturday, February 1st with runners of all ages. Registration is 200 MXN p/p; the race starts at 8:30 a.m.
Sayulita has Talent: This is the first talent show for Sayulita’s singers, dancers, and actors. Saturday, February 1st at the Creative Center located on José Mariscal No. 33 starting at 6:00 pm. Suggested contribution is 200 MXN per person.

+ Festival Sayulita is a non-profit event with the goal of raising money for the Creative Community Center.
+ These activities showcase the Sayulita’s bohemian ambiance, which has piqued the interest of domestic and international visitors since the festival began in 2013.

The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB) support events as they generate visitors and excellent exposure thanks to their media coverage. The activities take place with the support of the Government of the State of Nayarit via its Tourism Promotional Trust (Fiprotur).
