- The Luxury Travel Advisor Ultra
Summit brought over 80 travel advisors specializing in the luxury and wellness
segments together with top service providers.
The
Riviera Nayarit was present at the Luxury Travel Advisor Ultra Summit held from
May 21-23 in Orlando, Florida, where 58 travel advisors specializing in the
luxury segment met with service providers including tourism destinations,
hotels, and cruises.
The
event is organized by The Questex Hospitality + Travel Group owned by Questex
LLC, which provides innovative networking platforms for agents and hospitality
industry providers from around the globe, among other things.
The
Riviera Nayarit is currently home to an important luxury hotel infrastructure,
making its participation in an event with qualified luxury agency owners and
managers with millions of dollars in sales a must.
The
Luxury Travel Advisor Ultra Summit kicked off on May 21st with a
welcome ceremony attended by 58 luxury travel specialists plus another 30
travel experts within the luxury wellness segment.
The
business meetings were held on May 22nd and 23rd. The
Riviera Nayarit secured 27 business appointments with Virtuoso managers,
executives, and agency owners, as well as top travel companies including
Protravel, American Express Travel Centurion, Frosch, Ovation, and First in
Service Travel, to mention but a few.
Highlights
of the event included two conferences discussing global luxury trends and
networking dinners.
Most
of the summit participants were from the United States: the Riviera Nayarit
focused mainly on meetings with agents from California, Atlanta, Texas, and the
Midwest, where air connectivity is more prevalent, though they also had
appointments with agencies from New York and Florida.
